Director Anupam Sharma adds, "Brett is more popular in India than Australia. In fact he considers himself half Indian and always greets everyone with a namaste. He believes in a lot of Indian values, customs and traditions."

The movie narrates an unlikely love story between an Aussie teacher Will (Brett) and an Indian single mother Meera (Tannishtha Chatterjee) that also throws the Indian expat community in a tizzy. Gulshan Grover, Supriya Pathak and Akash Khurana play pivotal parts in the film.
