Bhopal: On a recent visit to her hometown, Indore, &TV's Voice India Kids Coach and popular singer Palak Muchhal did something really heart-warming. The super talented and soft-spoken Palak made a quick pit stop at the children's ward of Sri Aurboindo Institute of Medical Sciences to meet the kids there. As a part of the initiative by &TV – Heal the World with Music, Palak, who indulges in philanthropic activities and works towards the welfare of children, readily agreed to roll up her sleeves and engage with the children.
Palak not only met each child individually, but also surprised the little kids with a performance inside the ward. She sang her very popular song "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" and another song "Aao tumhe chand pe le jaye" for the kids. The power of her voice left the children touched and happy!
On being asked about her visit to the hospital, Palak said, "I keep visiting hospitals... I have a special bond with children, be it as a coach on The Voice or a performer to any child. I wanted to stop by the hospital and put a smile on the kids' faces, or more importantly, the families that are struggling so hard to still work and take care of them and not wanting to leave their children by themselves." She further added, "I didn't get enough time with the kids and had to leave with a heavy heart! However, I was welcomed with the most heart-warming smiles and the prettiest flowers. I'll be going back very soon!"
The lovely lady didn't just stop at that. She made sure to visit over 5000 students at the prestigious ALLEN Institute and inspire them with her singing prowess. With such young minds at rapt attention, Palak surely worked the magic of her voice on them that left them longing for more and smiling from ear to ear.
While some say Music has the power to heal souls, but Palak's trip to Indore definitely proves that it has the unmatched power to bring back the lost smile.
