Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has stated that it is the duty of Madhya Pradesh to extend assistance to its neighboring state, Chhattisgarh, which has been severely affected by excessive rainfall and flooding. From Madhya Pradesh, financial assistance of ₹5 crore, along with a train carrying relief supplies, is being sent to Chhattisgarh. Several regions, including Dantewada, have suffered extensive damage due to flooding.
CM Dr. Yadav praised the prompt efforts of the Chhattisgarh government in providing assistance to the affected citizens, describing them as commendable. He said that the Madhya Pradesh government is continuously monitoring the situation in neighboring areas.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav further stated that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, all governments are working in coordination and empathy to support one another during times of crisis and difficulty. He assured Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai that Madhya Pradesh will always stand with Chhattisgarh. He also affirmed that in the future, Madhya Pradesh will continue to provide necessary support and relief whenever required.
