Late Nanaji Realised Mission of Social Service through Austerity and Lifelong Commitment Chief Minister Dr. Yadav Virtually Addresses at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Research Institute, Chitrakoot Three-Day Event being Organised in Chitrakoot on the Death Anniversary of Late Nanaji Deshmukh
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Rashtrarishi Late Nanaji Deshmukh was not merely a politician, but a great visionary devoted to social transformation. He dedicated his entire life to rural development, education and self-reliance, and fulfilled the mission of social service through lifelong austerity and commitment. Late Nanaji Deshmukh firmly believed that the soul of India resides in its villages, and that only when villages are strong can the nation become strong.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav virtually addressed a three-day event organised at the Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Research Institute in Chitrakoot from the Vidhan Sabha in Bhopal, in connection with the 16th death anniversary of Rashtrarishi Nanaji Deshmukh, which falls on February 27.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Chitrakoot holds the unique distinction of being not only the sacred tapobhoomi of Lord Shri Ram, but also the karmabhoomi of Late Nanaji Deshmukh. He recalled that Late Nanaji Deshmukh had resolved to realise the vision of Integral Humanism propounded by Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya from Chitrakoot itself. With this objective, Chitrakoot Gramodaya University was established in 1991 as a rural university.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the State Government is working in accordance with the teachings of Late Nanaji Deshmukh to develop and empower society and the nation.
The Deendayal Research Institute has been carrying out exemplary work in rural development, healthcare, sanitation, education, agriculture, self-reliance and conservation of natural resources. Keeping in view the vision of development, along with heritage, the State Government is strengthening villages and contributing to nation-building.
Local Member of Parliament Shri Ganesh Singh, Vice-Chancellor Shri Alok Dubey, Organising Secretary of the Deendayal Research Institute Shri Abhay Mahajan, along with subject experts and research scholars, were present in Chitrakoot during the event.
